No. I think he’s saying his buddy got a really good one. I have some Tikkas that will shoot really small with custom loads. Not all of them do, but the worst one I have still shoots under an inch at 100.So what your telling me is I should build off a tikka lol
So what your telling me is the tikka ctr will shoot just as good as a custom barrel 700.
It's almost like buying a custom build rifle off the shelf
I put a metal one on my 223 that was damn close to the factory plastic that handled AICS type mags. Minor sanding with a Dremel got it in. Australian made, I think? I’ll have to look it up.I have a trued 700 action here i was gonna use for the 700 police style build .
I might get a ctr in 308 if thay shoot that good , only down side is the stock I want to put it in only accepts the factory t3 plastic mag and trigger guard like on the t3 light .the new krg echo stock
I second that! $900 is a good deal!If you like the Artic and can buy it for $900 - buy it. A 20" CTR is $1249 at Eurooptics. And the Artic at Eurooptics is......$2199.
You won't be disappointed in its performance.
My 6.5 CTR measures 0.79" +/- behind the threads on the muzzle. And 1.0" or a tad over at the breach.
In what stock ? I'm wanting to use the new Echo chassis form krg . I make my own stocks. This one is a T3x. I initially inletted for the factory plastic bottom metal. It only needed minor widening for the Atlasworks bottom metal. It took 15-20 minutes, tops.In what stock ? I'm wanting to use the new Echo chassis form krg . It only accepts the factory plastic mag and trigger guard
