Tight chamber

Have a 6.5 Saum that after resizing with, Whidden FL sizer, RCBS FL sizer, Redding body die. When I strip bolt and try and size case till bolt handle falls freely the case still rubs in a few spots.(even we I bumb shoulder 6thou) This is the second bbl from this smith. 1st one had same issue and some pitting in chamber so replaced bbl. I’m guessing his reamer is shit? He had rifle for almost a year to replace bbl so using him to fix is outta the question. My question is; is this really an issue? Will I get pressure signs sooner? Or will I just not be able to get precise measurements using free bolt fall, when checking shoulder bump and bullet seat? Gun shoots good, just not sure if I should have someone else clean up chamber?
I’ll attach some pics where it’s rubbing. I’ve tried running 320 grit paper on wood dowel to see if that may help, which it did a little.. I have 2 different lots of ADG brass, some unfired. Some Norma 300 brass, and Hornady and they all rub in a couple different spots.
Thanks for any advice. IMG_6216.jpegIMG_6343.jpegIMG_6344.jpegIMG_6345.jpeg

Definitely something not right, possible chatter as stated above. I agree with the statement you made about the reamer being the shitz.
Will a new unified piece of brass chamber? Is it getting marred up?
Definitely find you a new smith, a year is insane for a re-barrel..

Yes already have a different rifle being built by a different smith. I’ll probably take this bbl off and see if the new GS can clean it up.
These are the pics after I run sized brass straight in/out with marker.

Sounds like to me the reamer that was used is to small in dimensions i.e FL die to reamer fit.
Take some good measurements on your FL sized ADG brass then find a good smith with the reamer that will work with your dies your not the first one on here thats complained about a saum chamber being small on here.
I cant imagine after trying 3 different dies thats the problem but you never know.

Checking fired vs sized with the Tony Boyer method gets you most of the way there. Just leaves the back end which is easily dealt with.

I'll bet that chamber is a lot closer to working with the existing brass/die than you'd think. ;) -Al

I’ll look this up ⬆️
Thanks
I guess I’m not 100% sure this is actually a problem? I’ve just seen Alex Wheeler and Erik Cortina show how to check head space and that’s how they do.

Checking headspace the Wheeler method is the way to do it the problem is if the body is dragging your getting a false reading. Out of alot of guns I reload for .003 min bump gives me free bolt drop some up to .004 but not over that.
