Thoughts on two scopes for 600y F-Class

i have the sightron but not the athlon. The sightron will do the job, especially if your eyes are at a good condition. if you can save a bit more money, go with the NF 15-55x52. for the money it is by far the best for my eyes. No comparison with the sightron or the vortex. Another scope that I think it is better 5han the sightron is the Delta 10-50. Very clear glass. Now, if you really want to give your eyes a present, go with a March 8-80. Bets handling of mirage that I have ever seen. But, it is very, very expensive…good luck

So I'm contemplating spending more money. Basically buy once, cry once. I'm considering the Vortex Golden Eagle and the Trijicon Tenmile. The weight isn't an issue, as this is an open rifle and I have some wiggle room. Both optics seem very nice on paper, and also have great reviews here on the forum.

Any reason why someone would choose one over the other? Let me know your thoughts please. Thank you for all the help everyone, I really appreciate it!!

I’ve owned the GE ERC -1 , it’s very solid with an excellent reticle.
Hard to go wrong for the street price of around $1200.00

Why do you need zero stop on a dedicated, fixed distance gun? I have a couple sightron scopes, love them. I shoot the 8-32x56 with LRTD reticle and 1/8 clicks at 1000y. Rarely i wish I had a little more magnification, but there is always mirage and I'm often turning the power down to 25x or so, even the guys with NF are doing the same. Mirage gets so bad that even a 5" white spotter disappears.

If you want to spend more, try to look through March, Kahles, IOR, and Sightron SV w/ the ED glass. (in addition to the NF Comp already discussed)

Good luck.
