Third Gen. Sh. Supply — Email Issue but Positive Reports

So, tried logging in several days ago to place an order. Says my password isn't right and to click to have a password reset sent to my email. So I did, several times. No response email. I called yesterday, the guy I talked to said he sent me the email as we spoke. As of today, still no email. Of any type. So I placed my order as a guest. Got the order # and a message that the confirmation and payment info would be sent via email. Guess what, still crickets.

This is not the first time I've ordered there, but i'm getting a really bad vibe. I know they're probably busy, but so is everyone and to be lied to just chaps my ^$$.

Anyone else have the same experience.

If you have a Microsoft based email (hotmail.com outlook.com), it could very well be that they blacklisted his business - I have the feeling that there are people at M$ who look out for firearms related business and simply blacklist them because they can. Happened to me several times and it is a royal pain in the back getting off that blacklist. Once on that blacklist, you cannot send any e-mails to them anymore. I would try signing up for a gmail.com account and try it with that.

FORUM BOSS: Yes, member stork has a msn.com email. We have seen AOL.com also block emails from the Forum.

I have been using DDG through my Firefox browser for years and no trouble. Are you using DDG with Explorer?
No. I am using the DDG android browser instead of Fire Fox. Using the search engine alone on other browsers doesn't cause a problem because they accept cookies.

fwiw: i use hotmail/outlook email accounts at all the firearm vendors I have accounts at. I just tested this and I am able to receive 3rd generation password reset emails (although some vendors' reset emails do end up in the junk folder)

Yes, it could still be that they have a different domain to send their communications with - or it could of course be something different... just wanted to share my (bad) experience with Microsoft in the past.

no worries. i'm just relaying my experience also.
Notice 3rd Generation uses a non-descript gmail account for their emails: 3rdgss@gmail.com

Compare that to more descriptive email domains I get emails from - which more readily signifies it is a FA related business...and never had any problems with sending/receiving:

Just figured I'd update, my order just arrived. Many thanks to you that vouched for them. It made the difference between purchasing now or going without until next July. As I mentioned, I've ordered from them in the past, but not a lot.

Whenever possible I buy locally or at the National Matches at Camp Perry for bulk buys. That doesn't work very well right now.

Still doesn't explain why their emails won't be delivered to me. I've checked my email on multiple different browsers. Chrome, Edge, Dissenter, Firefox, Windows-haven't received anything no matter the browser, so that tells me the issue is on their end. Or someplace else, I don't know. It's just way above my pay grade.
