I've seen an uptick in requests lately for access to <someone's> account - maybe they lost their password, or for whatever reason, can't access their account.
I wanted to give a heads up on the policy for account access here - if it's just a lost password, you can click on the "Forgot my password" link on the login page, and a new password will be sent to you automatically. This covers most cases, but it's surprising how many people still send us an email when they've forgotten their password. Please - use the reset link because that's what we're going to recommend to you anyhow.
If you have lost access to (or forgotten) the email address associated with your account - well, things get a bit trickier, because we aren't going to automatically reset a password or handout access to an account just because we get an anonymous email request from *someone* to help because you can't login. There will likely be some hoops to jump through and we appreciate your understanding on this. I assume most of you will appreciate the fact that we are going to some trouble to validate people asking for access.
