Thinking about a Burris Eliminator III for Coyotes

Your thoughts??

I know the dumber ones come charging in early on, as the season continues on they become much more educated.

What are your thoughts on the newest Burris EliminatorIII for those “Hung up” Coyotes that don’t want to play nicely??

PS - i can get one at 50% OFF MSRP.

I just sold mine, I was thinking it would be great for Coyotes and varmint shooting. Here's why I went back to a normal scope.

Everything is based on a 100 yard zero, maybe you use a 100 yard zero and it won't bother you. But for me I like a 200 or 250 yd zero (depending on cartridge) so under 250ish I just hold on the yote and send it. Maybe the newest software will allow something other than 100 yard zero?

I also felt the reticle was thick and cluttered due to the wires in it. So it wasn't the best for woodchucks.

Lastly I was going to move it to a deer rifle, but I live in MI and my 357 max drops more than what the software allowed at 750 yards.

I have had one on a 223 varmint rifle for years. Glass is fair, and programming it isn't that hard and it is a hoot to shoot. Only problem is; all your friends are going to want to shoot it after you tell them how it works. Never fails to put a smile on their face.

Enjoy.

I have looked thru them but never used 1. A bud has one on a 300 Win Mag and loves it. Only downside that I saw was the glass needs to be better for my eyes.
