Things you wish you knew F-TR and F-class

Biggest take away just looking at it is, all three targets (and especially the last one) exhibit groups that show what I'll assume is being downwind (or behind the wind) most of the time. Figure out what you were doing, how to be a little more aggressive in your calls when reading the wind and mirage and how you could center those groups up next time, and you'll instantly gain points. It's something you constantly need to be thinking about as you shoot. It's hard and easy to skip your mind when you're only thinking about the last shot, but try to visualize if your shots are trending downwind, upwind or center up as a pattern and adjust accordingly. Easier said than done I know, but centering groups is critical for maximizing your score
I was on target with him and he shot exceptionally well! The let offs were really big!

Here's an update. Shot at Bayou Rifles 600 yard match for the first time today. Wind was pretty tough, coming from 10-11 o'clock up to about 15 mph. The Savage 12 FTR .308 did very well and I managed to shoot 589-25x
What do you guys think of the grouping of the shots? Anything to learn from the targets? Thank you @tvaught , @NA Woody and all the competitors.
You shot exceptionally well with the conditions we had and your lighter than average bullets. See you on the 5th!

The acronym/abbreviation nazis have only ensured the term "velo" will be used as often as humanly possible. Like this:

Holy threadshift Batman! - I would like to congratulate you esteemed gentleman of the F-TR sport for tuning away a potential new competitor with this rude trashing of a real question from a new shooter. Just what all shooting sports needs. Gentle correction by replying to the post using your preferred verbiage would get the job done and encourage a new shooter as well.

Something like....Mr. Schneider, Welcome to F class shooting. There are many free ballistic calculators available on line that will help you find a minimum velocity needed to be supersonic at 1000 yards for E- targets. I prefer to be a bit faster and target 1300 Feet per second as my 1000 yard velocity. In your 140 ELD-M example, you would enter the values for your local conditions and the 140 ELD-M bullet into the calculator and select a "What if " muzzle velocity. I used JBM and typical spring time conditions for the Midwest where I live. Using 2550 FPS as muzzle velocity and it projects the target velocity would be 1312 FPS. If you have a load that is grouping well and has no pressure signs at 2680 fps, your 140 ELD-M will be 1405 FPS at 1000 yards. That is well above the trans- sonic threshold and will be detected on the e targets.

You mention F- Practical - That is a Club designation I had to look up. I think it is a great idea as a gateway to the sport to " Run What you Brung" but from the NRA rule book, F-open and F-TR are the only recognized matches. F-TR is limited to .223 Rem/5.56 rilfe or .308 Win rifles with bipod and rear bags like you have. Your 6.5 Creedmoor would be in F-open class shooting against the guys with front rests.

This link to CIHPRS web site has some other information that you may find useful.

I'm going to give it an honest go this year for F-TR 600 and 1000 yards, Going to use a rifle I have had for ten years (savage F-TR .308) I have an old Sinclair bipod, Nightforce NXS scope and a protector rear bag. I will be loading my own ammo ( I have about 600 175 SMK I will use up first).

What are some things you wished you knew when you decided to get serious?
Back then, don't shoot the 175SMK at 1000 yards. Do like the others and step up to the Berger 185 Juggernaut.
