The point of the money isn’t just to help the suddenly unemployed but to also stimulate the economy. It’s to get people out spending money and making it circulate. Many people still employed will be afraid to spend money waiting for the shoe to drop on them. The intention is to give those people a little boost of confidence to get them to keep spending money.

If most honest peoples taxes go up any more then by extension of logic maybe the gubment can write us some hot checks to pay them back with. Clear all accounts, erase the debt. Write???

Our intelligence people notified others on or about January 5th that things were going on in China, but just in case that you've forgotten donnie doesn't read intelligence briefings. He doesn't need to since he knows it all.
At that point I would have put Maddog Mattis [assuming that he'd still give donnie the time of day] in charge of organizing a team and making sure that essential supplies were being accounted for or amassed as need. But that's just me.
I think China knows this and has been prepping for it since I have been reading about them doing nuclear test... Now the US is finally admitted this virus didn't come from someone eating an infected bat , like it would be the first bat , cat , dog etc ever eaten in China... Anyone who can put two and two together knew it came out of that lab.... BUT now that China has said they make our medicine and if we didn't like it they would stop shipping it to us in the middle of all this... Then said we released the virus on them and who knows what else... They have shown their true colors....
They knew about the virus LONG before they told the rest of the world and let people come and go even holding one of the biggest festivals in the world... Yes they should be held accountable.. It certainly seems they should but on a world scale like this I am not sure how... We have decided to reopen the economy knowing that people will get infected and die but if we don't America will die... To me it's very funny that right after Trump puts sanctions against China and basically gets them in an economic hold a virus is released crashing the world's economy and making everyone start over... coincidence.? Unfortunately China has a large military , nuclear weapons and we bought their crap goods and paid for it.... It could start literally WW3 , could you imagine the death toll right now trying to fight said war with a virus in the mix... It would be the end of the world as we know it...

The bigger brains in government already know the cure to our debt problem. Can you spell inflation. Remember the 70's and cost of living add on to your pay check. Love the President but don't believe he will get a second term. Think I am full of ****, take a look at the last election in Wisconsin; the supreme court election results. Please pray I'm wrong and vote.

That works in dynamically stable airplanes without a correct dampening input. The THEORY behind this overreactive economy killing shutdown BETTER have been to provide a corrective dampening input to virus transmission......
Wow when you look at the whole stimulus package it’s hard to imagine that much money when it trickles down to you it isn’t that much it’s not nearly enough for what we are going through
Suspect we will see hyper-inflation - perhaps the dollar currency converted to some other new currency at an exchange rate of 10 cents on the dollar - perhaps the predictions in the book "After Shock" will happen.
There is a history on this kind of issue - Germany after WWI.

It would be more to the individual if there wasn't so much BS pork attached to the package.

When I lived in Japan in the 50's and 60's, one dollar was worth 365 yen. Today it is worth only 108 yen! The dollar was damaged a long time ago and so was it's buying power. nilebartram
