The Virginia Attorney General

Gentleman please. It's Christmas! I had to check my heading. I thought I was on Snipers Hide by mistake.

joshb, you are 100% correct. I apologize to all the rest of you.

"Never argue in public with a jackass, Bystanders don't know which one is the jackass."

i love this line.. "Never fails. Open a door to a crowded room, yell "hey, STUPID!" and two or three people will jump up and yell back "I'm not stupid!"
guess the wall hook broke off.... :-X oral office Lol's

the virginia ag's ruling was surprising, but so was the ohio's government vote to recognize everyone's. one door closes; another one opens. each affects my travel, ohio much more as i am less than 5 miles from ohio. utah permit now interests me a little. adapt, improvise, overcome. meanwhile, work hard to vote this man out. which, contrary to some opinion, is entirely legal. i may just contribute to the next ag candidate, if he pledges to reverse this ruling, just as i am eagerly awaiting the next ag election in pa.

I am also sorry for my right wing rant during Christmas....after all "what difference does it make" whose running the show? In the end "It takes a village".

"He's a modern lesson in how Hitler got elected. I'm watching with my mouth hanging open."

I had the same sentiments during the last two national elections. Now you know how how I feel. I would rather have "any" of the current candidates on the right than the three buffoons on the left.

Way to go jrs, when folks tell you that you are full of IT; just threaten them via interstate communication and then cop to it in a public forum. My, my you are sooo smart!

By the way; should you feel the need to threaten me again via pm, I don't have you blocked. I need a good laugh!

JRS If Billery gets in you won't know this Country in 2024! The pic here and the pic there till the second amendment is gone, then the others Amendments will follow. I just fear for my Grandchildren not for myself. And I've said it before. If someone is not a citizen they should not be able to own a firearm for 20 years, that's how long I had to wait to prove myself. And that I wasn't going out and kill someone because of my religion.

Joe, you are spot on. The Constitution was written not so much to form a government as to protect the citizens from a tyrannical government such as they had escaped from when creating America. If we have another 4 or 8 years of an out of control liberal as President, the U.S. Supreme Court will be stacked so far to the left, that there will no longer be a Constitution as we learned it in school. The Federal government today hates the Constitution and they show it at every turn. That's why we need people who are not life long politicians to take control of the nation back. The politicians are completely out of touch with the citizens. When Trump and Cruz (hated by the GOP Elite even more than Trump is feared by them) show around 60% of the Republican voters polled, that should tell the Political Elite how far out of touch they really are with the voters they seek to rule instead of lead. On the Dem side its the same. A Political elite class ruled by Hilary for the moment, that only represents a narrow segment of their own voters on the extreme left. This election will be interesting, but if Hilary does win it, guns will be history before she's out of office. All she needs are 2 Supreme Court judges to rule against the 2nd Amendment. We have already lost the 10th Amendment which was supposed to be the one that protected us from a federal Government out of control.

Sage advice of member “Rancher Will” on another site:

“We were warned about this by our Founders. Read the Constitution, then read the Federalist Papers, then read the numerous letters written by Madison, Jefferson, Washington, et al, to their contemporaries explaining what their intentions were when debating and writing the Constitution in the years following the Revolutionary War. Trust their own words explaining what they wrote in the Constitution, and why they then added the Bill of Rights, to prevent the abuses that we are now experiencing.”

Carrico said he’ll address the issue come January.

“A lot of the governor’s power is deferred to the General Assembly at that point and I’ll be getting with my colleagues to circumvent everything this governor has done on this point,” he said. “I have a budget amendment that I’m looking at to take away his executive protection unit. If he’s so afraid of guns, then I’m not going to surround him with armed state policemen.”

Liberals are never wrong. Liberals are always smarter than anyone else. Liberals always know everything about everything. Liberals always have that "holier than thou", attitude. Liberals are always willing to "Get along" as long as you agree with them. Sounds amazingly like someone who posts here using only his initials.
If you would be receptive to the idea, Eddie - have you considered hormone replacement therapy? It appears, from the research I have performed, that it has proven to be quite successful in the treatment of menopause

Don't forget to insinuate that he has a small pee-pee and is compensating for it with his gunz, JRS. That always works.

We have the "right" to carry a concealed weapon via a CCW permit issued by the state in which we live. That CCW permit is a privilege, not a right.

Wait. Did somebody remove the words “and bear” from the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms?

I carried one for 40 years BEFORE there was a CCW permit! I figure I'm the ONLY ONE that's going to protect me and my family!!

Screw the gov't and the state!!

There is, a difference. A marriage license is a recognition of legal status. All states recognize the legal act of getting married. It isn't illegal in any state to get married. Your drivers license is more complicated, because it affects the right to travel, which is a fundamental right protected by the Constitution. A CCW gives you the right to carry within the states borders, in compliance with state law, and is a privilege, not a status. Every bit of it is complicated, and would consume many pages of explanation.

JRS, a driver's license has no effect on my right to travel. I can go anywhere I choose, whether I have a license to drive, or not. The right to keep and bear arms IS a protected right that IS affected by permit/license, and variations in law, state to state. If I obey the law, which I do, I feel at a distinct disadvantage to those who do not. Just as people who choose to drive without a license; felons who carry concealed break the law. Tho this particular point matters little to them. What is it about law abiding CCW holders that scares the liberal left so much?

Actually, we're gaining rights every day.

In five days, Texas will re-gain some gun rights.
