Having a differing is fine , but why the acidic response ? I referenced my personal opinion based on about 30 years of loading experience for a .308 , for hunting purposes and developing loads for F class , where there are far from SAAMI specs involved . And I have never seen a pressure issue , if you follow all the loading procedures , even at that "beginning" level . But then ; I also do not use cheap trash brass , junk primers , or run-of- the-mill bullets . Or begin a load that isn't within the loading parameters of the "stated" manual loads . "THEY" ; the producers established the parameters , and I choose to begin INSIDE their parameters . So why should their be any issue ? Or is the "real" objection of my remark regarding , "Legal Weenies" ?Maybe you'd be better off by getting rid of the "BS" established by the "Legal Weenies" and start right at their maximum load, saving a lot of time.
