The buds gun shop RR remington timing

@Alex Wheeler ... fair enuf.

My initial objection was twofold… both the cost and the front rest that I see used almost exclusively.

1st, I'm not Tony Boyer and never will be. Lol

2nd… the front rest. I am told by people who compete in this discipline that you almost don't even touch the rifle... at least As compared to more a PRS style where you are literally shouldering into the rifle loading the bipod and have extensive shooter interface with it, and the hold matters significantly.

Am I wrong in that assessment?

I just used Tony as an example because everybody knows his name but your right, some guys shoot free recoil others may hold the rifle or pin it hard. I used to shoot service rifle with a sling, that game really is about how good you can hold a rifle. I just do not want to see anyone not give something a try because they think they have to have a lot of money to buy the wins. I know first hand thats not true.

A very nice table, the 4'x10' is our table. A lot of heavy wood. WV has or has had a lot of old huge timber.

Sadly that particular table was probably made in Indonesia ..... lol

We do have a good friend here in West Virginia that literally cuts down trees, Mills them in to board feet lumber and has building number of magnificent furniture pieces in our home.

All disciplines require different equip and shooting styles. BR is about the most extreme accuracy and the small size of the groups require different methods to achieve this. Service rifle, PRS, Palma, and other off hand shooting does not require .1moa of accuracy.
No way to directly compare them.

I love WV. It started when My Grandson played football for WVU. My only complaint was having to always walk uphill!

I think I'm going to quit now. Had 2 great conversations this a.m. on this subject and want to leave it at that.

Peace. Out.
