Hah.. I just loaded 30 cases with 30.3 gr varget throwing it with a plastic 'pos' Lee perfect powder measure and then check weighing on my tuned M5 that is good to .003 gr. I kid you not the attached pic is the most the weigh was off out of 30 throws.

Yeah, I needed to fireform some brass with old ball powder the other week.

I didn't want to get that stuff all in my autotrickler V3! I hadn't used my "POS" Lee Perfect powder measure in 18 years. I checked my powder drops on the A&D fx120i. They were within .02gr.

Ok guys. I have the POS Lee powder measure kit. I thought in case an EMP took out the power grid. LOL
So, do you scrape them level for accuracy?

? I bought 3 more and have each one set up for a specific powder and weight. When my pos custom collet die arrives for my 6br I wont have much left to do that takes excess time but bump the shoulders. takes all the fun out of reloading.

Ope! I thought we were talking the plastic scoops of different sizes. Bwahahahahahaha:)

they dont work work unless doing huntin woods loads with a hammer or rock and $30 die pack. then they work. no you supposed to do the dip only!! more accurate than you would think!! My dad used one seal huntin in alaska reloading in camp for many seasons and many boat loads of hides!

Santa brought me one for Christmas a couple weeks ago (talked Santa into giving it early). I had read how repeatable and accurate they were, and had to try one....I am amazed that the claims are true, as long as the powder types are compatible. I load 4.? he of powder . At .1 tenth under max, it throws perfect loads, verified on my RCBS Chargemaster. With a consistent lever throw action, I achieve accurate charges. Nice to see that something with only 4 digits in the price provides exceptional value...rsbhunter

Yea, I almost paid more for an older model (figured the " new" version had been messed up with improvement's) but rolled the dice. It won't replace my other thrower/scale, but it will get alot of use...rsbhunter

opinions are cheap.
ii have one that is fine for fire forming drops at the range.
but i would never load competition ammo with it.
type of powder determines it actual accuracy.
i'll stick to what works for me.
