Thanks Larry, seriously. I never won one of your triggers, I even don't own one of your triggers but I damn sure appreciate all that you and so many others have done for the shooting sports.Dave, GOOD FOR YOU to recognize the donor.
Over the yrs I have donated several triggers at shoots
I have attended and to some that I have never attended,
and have yet to have that first recipient(winner) to acknowledge
the prize publicly or privately. "Thank you" must be a forgotten
term. LDS
That works on the donor's side too, because now they have something nice to display in their shop. I can't recall where it was - it wasn't a gun shop... I think it was rock climbing outfit - but they were displaying thank you letters from various events they had supported and I thought it was a great way to show their customers that some of the money they spend in the shop went back to the community and the sport they participate in.Good on both of you gents!
I ran a fund raising flyfishing show for several years here in Albuquerque, the club is New Mexico Trout. We would solicit items to raffle from local shops and manufacturers nationwide. I would print thank you letters on club stationery which named the business and mentioned what the donated item was, NO form letters. The person who bid the highest and won the item signed the letter which I mailed later. We never failed to get repeat donations.
Those 103's are the "Bee's Knees" and that weight just seems to work in a 6BR...I just received 1,000 Barts bullets that I was fortunate enough to win at a rifle match. I just wanted to publicly thank Bart for the donation. We are lucky to have so many great people who donate not only their time but also sponsors who donate their products to our sport. Thanks Bart!
Dave.

I use Copper Head 103's {Made in OZ} and have set some range records with them and on track to take out the "F" Open class this year. If I can ever get back to the US I will build another 6BR that I can leave with family and use in comps while in country... Will definatly be looking for some of BART'S 103's!
DaveIf you make it back to the States during our match season, roughly April through October, PM me. If I’m headed to a match I’ll bring an extra rifle for you to shoot.
Dave.
Its NEVER to late in life to own a JEWELL trigger. LDSThanks Larry, seriously. I never won one of your triggers, I even don't own one of your triggers but I damn sure appreciate all that you and so many others have done for the shooting sports.
I'm with Bart on his feelings about this. It has just felt good to donate a couple of hundred $$ worth of competition cartridge boxes to shooters who drew that particular item in the "drawing" at any match , especially when they write and thank you. That 's what it's about gentlemen. Thanks Dave! Much appreciated my Friend!
Bart
G'day Dave,If you make it back to the States during our match season, roughly April through October, PM me. If I’m headed to a match I’ll bring an extra rifle for you to shoot.
Dave.
I am using an R-5 built by Gary Eliseo up in Cottonwood Az. and have thanked him for his good product and prompt/courteous service. He has posted some photos that I sent to him with targets and rifle on the mound to his Facebook site.Dave
I really wish there were more people like you to come on here publicly and honor the vendor's 4 his donation 2 our sport that is pretty much primarily why I don't do soliciting of prize tables anymore for these National events the shooters want to win something and do but never reaches out to the vendors and thank them for their support and that makes my job harder every year to get support attaboy Dave I wish they were a lot more like you.
How unfortunate that Courtesy and Good manners have fallen so far into decline...Dave, GOOD FOR YOU to recognize the donor.
