TEXAS STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION 2024 MID-RANGE CHAMPIONSHIP

Unfortunate that the Mid Range Full Bore Nationals are being held the following weekend in Florida.
 
My youngest son (Logan) and me signed up last night. We are #45 & #46. The match shows to have room for 96 before the wait list starts…. I’d sign-up sooner rather than later.
 
Will there be an opportunity before Friday the 4th to get on a team? I would love to have the chance to shoot on a team with the guidance of a coach, that way I could have someone other than my wife telling me what I'm doing wrong. It'll be my first trip to the Bayou and I'd like to make the most of it.

Really sorry to hear that so many people are going to miss the opportunity to come to Florida to shoot the full bore nationals the next weekend. and sorry to see the sport so diluted by competing events,, but I understand it is a drive for most and the competition in Florida can be a little intimidating. It would still be nice to see some new folks come to shoot in Florida in the hunt for a national title if you still have time available.
As for the TSRA Mid Range championship, I wish all the shooters the best. The range speaks for its self. and it history is well known. Have fun and shoot small.
 
I will be shooting both the TSRA Mid Range Championship and the Full Bore Nationals the next weekend. Luckily for me home is about half way between them so I'll get a couple days in between to decompress and reload. I did shoot at Port Malabar earlier in the year at the Space Coast Regional and had a great time! Hope to meet some new friends at both events.

Great news and glad that you are between the two. Not many can say that. I wish I was closer to Bayou so I could support both. As you likely know from shooting both, they each have their own challenges and amazing shooters
 
We have an opening on an F-open team if anyone is interested. Of course we desire an Open shooter but If you are TR competitor and are orphaned, we can probably make that work too. PM me if interested.
