They reproduce like crazy , tear up alot of things and are brave....Alot of guys have started taking AR-15 with heavy bullets to get a few shots out on them.....Best thing TPWD did was make it where you didn't need a license to hunt on private property, I hope that gets more people in the hunt, but a person hunting public land better have one and the proper permits to hunt there.
I saw so many pigs last deer season I couldn't believe my eyes when I would shoot a pig in the morning and the same group would be back later that day or very next morning. 1 shot and they would run, if I was lucky I might get a running shot on another. Last couple years I would pick off one from the pack and they would avoid my feeders for a while, but not this year.
Yep, they breed like nothing else and are brave because they have no natural enemies that I'm aware of. I have an AR that I'm considering taking with me now that deer season is done and putting up a small tree stand in an oak next to one of my feeders, I topped that feeder off 6 weeks ago and turned feed time down, I know it's probably still drawing the pigs in.They reproduce like crazy , tear up alot of things and are brave....Alot of guys have started taking AR-15 with heavy bullets to get a few shots out on them.....

That derned Ho-nady is just really long...Seating them bullets awful deep ain't he? Creedmoor was designed to solve that![]()
