Testing the 22 Hornet

Test day for the Hornet. Missed as many as I hit. Berger and Sierra HP's I was using seem to go right through. Cept for this guy, head shot. Round nose Hornet bullets should arrive tomorrow. So back to more testing, dangit.

The Sierra 40 and 45gr Hornet bullets are very frangible and shoot pretty well too. I’ve had good luck with them on squirrels. Nothing fancy, they just work.

These [Berger and Sierra] seem to just blow right through. No splatter like Vmax's. I have some 45 Grain Sierra Hornets coming tomorrow

I've shot i dont know how many 1,000's from midsouth and glad I bought a healthy stash when they were cheap of the 17 and 20 cal.
