Testing (preliminary) trim/point testing not what I expected!!

Yes but it made no difference at short range!

I trimmed and pointed Barts 80 gr. boat tails and the shot in sub .1 in a br. imp.

I've tested at 1300 and 1600 yards and I definitely see smaller groups with the pointed and trimmed
than with un molested bullets. I do agree with Bart, less is more when it comes to pointing. You can
easily make em shoot worse if you get too aggressive pointing. I don't see any gain for me at 800 and in.
I also sort while trimming to point in groups.

I bet you shot some that small without trimming and pointing to!

Yes, but when you go to 300 they smile when they leave the barrel... It just makes a great bullet a little more consistent, they kind of like to find the same hole.... lol.... jim
