Does everyone know that there is a set of mirrors available that is more stable in larger bores?

I looked at my 50 caliber muzzleloader barrel a couple days ago, unless the edge of the mirror is close to the bore the image is a little out of focus. The bigger mirror should stop this.

That is exactly what it would help with. As an example, if you used the small miror (.20/.22) in the .50 cal. or any larger bore, then focused the mirror when the cable/rod/mirror was looking upward, and then you rotated it 180° to look at the bottom of the bore, the rod, cable and mirror would drop to the bottom of the bore and change the distance from the mirror to what you are viewing. This would tend to throw the image out of focus. In your case, using the .20/.22 rod/cable/mirror in .50 caliber, it would magnify the problem. Using it in something like a .24/.25 bore, less issue.
