Telling the wife

How do you tell your wife you just brought at another machine for the home workshop . That's wasn't cheap at 6k ??

A . Do you tell her over dinner with the back door open for a quick escape .

B . Just put the machine in the workshop and when she asks about it you tell her have had that for years. Havnt you noticed it

Would suggest a 100yr “time capsule.” Or an addendum to your last will...whichever comes first.

I used to take guns apart and bring them in in pieces. When I finally built my gun room, I had a weaning pen for before I brought them inside. After 37 years, she doesn't even look anymore.

Any major purchases we discuss first. Except for anything gun related. When we were dating I told her that I don’t stop at the bars on the way home from work, I don’t sit and watch sports on tv on sundays. My only hobby is guns and you will go before they will. In June we will celebrate 39 years of marriage. I do get an occasional what did you order now, when a package arrives.

I must be the luckiest man on earth. My wife never questions what I buy or how much I spend, she is a true angel. I tell her about my next purchase and the approximate cost before I get it. Her reply is normally, "it is your money, get what you want. You can't take it with you." I typically remind her that it is "our" money. I am truly blessed.

I don’t feel obligated to tall myself wife anything anymore. I was cleaning out her truck and I found a receipt for a tank of gas.!! If she can spend that kind of money and not talk it over with me, then all bets are off.

My wife got me into reloading and I am a bigger cheapskate than she is.

Just don't spend money you can't afford on stuff...or get a side job and agree that the cash goes to your "toy collection."

If you have a good gal, she is worth keeping. My first wife was not right at all. My second one is a keeper.
