target scope ?

Which scope would be better a weaver T-36 or a Sightron SII fixed 36 powder ?
Does anyone have the Sightron and is it clear and bright ? Any pros or cons appreciated.

I started F-T/R with the SII 36X and used it for 300yds and 600yds. It is kind of a hassle to reach the AO while prone, but since I only had to focus once each match, I could live with it. The magnification, clarity and brightness are ample for 300 and 600 yard target shooting. I used it at 100 yds for load development and at that range it works great. I’ve since moved to a higher magnification scope, but have the SII dedicated to my backup rifle. I still shoot it from time to time at matches. It is a great value for an entry level target scope.

I had an older model T36 and didn't like it. I sold it and bought a Sightron SIII 45X45 ED and love it!

Sightron 36x is on sale at midway 339 bucs, if you can find a good t36 that's not grainy it's a much clearer scope, I'm lucky to have one that is pretty clear, but some look grainy lookin

I have several T-36 scopes that were bought from people on this forum and will use them until they no longer function. That said I will buy Mueller 40x scopes because of the price and functionality. I proudly own (1) Nightforce but will never again pay the prices really good optics go for. At 80 years of age I can still shoot well enough with decent optics and am content to spend my money on rimfire ammo. Centerfire ammo for my 223, 300blkout, 6br, 6.5x55 ackley improved, 270, and 308 are my favorites to reload and all rifles have good optics. I enjoy my time at the range and shoot for accuracy not volume.

I have a Sightron two, dot reticle that I shot .22 off hand with. Yours for $350, I’ll pay shipping and insurance.

if you can find a Weaver T36 that's not grainy it's better than the Sightron but that's a challenge

Search for the model number on gun.deals to find the best price
That's an interesting site. Thanks for the tip.

I ordered the scope from LockLoaded.com for $749. The price seems exceptionally good. I did an internet review of the site and they seem legitimate. I hope it all works out. I paid by CC so I should have some recourse if it doesn't.

I have bought from LockedLoaded several times, small family owned and never had any trouble other than a little slow to ship back when the last gun rush started. Another place that often wins the low price honor is called Battlehawk Armory. I found them the same way and they have been good for me, and also very fast shippers.
