Short Range Benchrest Scope

I’m putting together something for short range benchrest 100-300 yard...Looking at some lighter optics....what are pros/cons of each.

Weaver classic T series 36x

Sightron SII 36x

Either one of those will work fine. I have the Weaver sitting on a 6ppc rail and am very happy with it.

I used a Weaver T36 for rimfire benchrest and it worked out really well for me. Never had an issue.

might wanna look at the sightron siii 45x with the ed glass, EXCELLENT scope!!!

You might pick up a Leupold 45X in the for sale section.

If you can make 22-24 oz work for you, don’t forget the valdada 36x or 40x br models. Think there are a couple of them for sale on here now. You won’t regret it....excellent scopes in every way....mechanically and optically superb

Any scope over $300 (used) and made in Japan (or any Leupold) will perform well in it's peer group.

I would be thinking about magnification and reticles...Tom
