If you have read any of my other posts, you know that I am new to precision loading and I have been playing around with a factory Remington Model 7 "Predator" in 223 Rem. While testing out some loads I noticed that I had a hard time finding a way to aim at a target that was not really large enough to see well on 6 power (Leupold 1.75 x 6). I decided to make my own targets by first stealing a design off of the internet and then tweaking it. I shrunk the original image down so that I could get two of them on a piece of paper and add a load data chart next to it. I then filled in the squares around the center and created heavy cross hairs in the middle of the target. My hope is that I will be able to see a better reference for my scopes duplex even if I cannot see the dead center of the target.
I have attached the target to this thread so you can take a look, give some suggestions on improvement, or use it for yourself.
Thank you!
Andy
