Target camera

Just curious if anyone has purchased a target camera system and what your opinions were on it. I have a home made system that I use right now but I would like to find something I can view on a tablet, laptop, smartphone, etc. I need something that works at 600 yards. Looking at the bullseye camera system.

Ping Erik Cortina. I shot with him and another gentlemen from the forum who's handle I can't recall at the moment. He had a camera set up at 1000 yards. Worked well and if I recall correctly, the price wasn't astronomical either.

I tried a couple of bullseye camera systems and had a few issues connecting at 1000 yards reliably. When it did connect, the video was low quality and on par with a video chat camera. I was not able to see bullet holes on a black NRA long range fclass target. Their customer service is great but unfortunately the system did not work for my needs. They did suggest shooting at a white background target or shoot n c targets but that defeats the purpose. I just setup a white metal target and I get visual and audio feedback.

I think building your own system may be cheaper and higher quality. If you do a search on the forum you will find posts that have covered the topic as well as equipment lists that get the job done.
