Excellent video. But I have a possibly dumb question. How are you able to make the camera zoom in & out at 1.5 miles?

After watching the video and seeing Ray's post I looked this up more since I'm cheap and usually shooting by myself. Here is a list of things I believe I'd need. I have 120v at my firing line. Planning on putting our farm truck down by the target that has 3 batteries in it with an inverter to run power to transmitter and camera. Definitely wouldn't be the most compact unit but I just wanted to see how cheap it could be done. Anything I'm missing?
Camera - Free sitting in attic
Wireless A/V Transmitter and Receiver with cords - $50 ebay
Power Inverter to run Transmitter and Camera - Already have one but around $20
Yagi 1.2ghz antenna with cord - $30 ebay
Old TV with RCA inputs - Free from friend's attic since it's not LCD
Antenna tripod - My chronograph tripod
