Have to say I don't buy any. Can't see spendin money on it. However a bud had some a few years back. We set a jar right next to a P-dawg hole and waited.. Mr P-dawg comes out looks around and BOOOM!!

Here is a neat "trick" you can play on your buddies.

Take an expended hand warmer packet.
Remove the expended material inside.
Fill it with Tannerite (about 2 table spoons)
Use rubber cement to seal the packet closed.
Tell your friends you read (on Al Gore's internet) that these expended hand warmer packets can be shot and will blow up.

Put the packet 100 yards away and have one of your buddies shoot it with a CR rifle. I hang them under the target board on our range so as to not damage the target boards.

Enjoy their attempts to duplicate with their hand warmer packets.

If you live in an area that sells fireworks. The 2" mortar concussion ones can be set off with a 22rf. Hang them by the fuse, and stay back at least 50yds.
