Need some help with reamer here, I decided against the 20ppc on the advice of some guys on here as pressure might be abit much for my model21 action and I am going to order a tactical20 reamer. One of the reasons I am going tac 20 is too get rid of the freebore of the .204 ruger, so I want to make sure I dont end up with the same problem in tac20, will I need to spec what bullets I will be using so that the can grind the throat to the proper length? Currently I am using 35g bergers as my number one choice but in the tac20 I could go either way from 32g v-max to 40g v-max and dont want to get caught out not being able to get bullets into the lands. Ill be oredering the reamer from pacific tool and gauge. Also do you think it will be better forming my own brass or just buying the laupa/dakota pre formed brass, I cant get a hold of the laupa tac20 brass at the moment but a dealer is getting some soon, I am just wondering will my reamer dimesnions depend on weather I am forming the brass or buying it pre formed, as I assume the neck thickens a bit on the stuff you form yourself. Also do the redding dies depend on forming yourself or the laupa tac20 brass, I just cant imagine the preformed laupa stuff will be the same as forming down yourself from .223 to tac.20. As always any advice and tips much appreciated,, I also went for a 1-11 barrel so ill be able to shoot the 40's ok.
