Haven’t shot yet but the conditions seemed hard to deal with.
It does not seem to be a walk in the park, no two flags looked the same.
We will know more tomorrow, forecast wind pattern similar to today’s.

There is one surefire way to find out whether its shootable or not. Be on the firing line when the match begins. Who knows for sure before the man says commence fire.

Not entirely true. Some of us have been laying in bed shivering because we ran out of propane in the middle.of the night.

We got in at 1:00 AM Friday morning. enjoyed the day just shooting the bull with fellow shooters.
This morning everybody will get sighted in and some practice. Maybe a little tuning.

The light conditions do look deceiving. And the truth is, until the wind kicks up some and starts swirling around in there, the place is no different than many other ranges.

But it can get very challenging after the wind comes in. Add that in with the distance, the Format, and what we are trying to achieve, the Tack Driver can indeed be a challenging endevour.

I believe this is turning into one of the premier events in extreme accuracy shooting.
