T2K rear pinch block question.

Has any one here who ownes a T2k that has the rear pinch block (like on the Spectacular T2K) ever fill it with lead to act as a weight on the buttstock?

Are they even hollow?

Here is a picture of one to explain what I'm talking about.

Thanks

I always assumed that mine were solid...and I think they are. Just checked out a couple and they seem solid.

Don't know about the pinch tube, but the tube the buttplate is attached to is hollow on my T2K. I had the same thought as you, so I melted some lead and filled it up. Life was great for a while until I checked it one day and I could feel the lead moving back and forth when I shook the buttplate assembly. I had to trim some lead off the top to screw the buttplate back on, so I thought it was a tight fit, but it definitely developed some fore and aft play after some use. Maybe the lead shrunk after it cooled off completely ? I took the lead tube out and havn't worried about it since.
