I just picked up a slightly used Thompson Center Benchmark .22, my first. This is the 19" .875" barrel with flat forend lam stock. Neat little rifle, barrel is screwed onto steel action, very sturdy, it appears. I am using it mostly to shoot targets in the cold months at a low cost. It shoots very well, for my purposes), esp. given the reasonable price, maybe 3/8" @ 50 yds with Wolf Match ammo. However the trigger is very curved, small & narrow, and kind of heavy. Any ideas on trigger replacements, especially ones that I can do myself? I have replaced several Rem 700 triggers with Rifle Basix, etc, and have some gen'l knowledge of triggers, etc. Any Rimfire gunsmith specialists anyone can recommend? Don't want to break the bank on a relatively inexpensive rifle...
Thanks!
