SWITCH BARREL TORQUE INFORMATIOM REM 700

Good evening from across the pond, can you help me again.

I have a Remington 700 rifle with a 6.5x47 barrel and a 0.308 W barrel, when i remove the 6.5 barrel and switch to the 0.308 W, what torque do I require to place the barrel to the action.
I have read and been told many torque figures, being a Remington and a short thread the torque figures CAN BE large and I have also been told that as a switch barrel a small torque figure would be required.
Not being a expert on the subject, can any Gentleman give me a guide to the torque figures I need.
The figures I have seen and been told vary from 20-100 ftlbs.

Thank you one and all.

A switch barrel is no different than any other rifle. 60-70 ft lb is common. Its really not that important if the machine work is good.
