SWFA Outdoors?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has ordered from SWFA Outdoors. (http://swfa.com/)

They seem to have good prices on some things.

Has anyone had any bad experiences with them? Good experiences?

I did a search and came up with nothing.

Thanks.

I bought a couple super sniper scopes from them (10x &16x),good product and fast service~Danny

I traded in a used scope for a Hawke Frontier. I thought everything about the transaction was just fine. Prompt responses to questions, fast shipping.

I've bought scopes, rings, bases. They have great pricing. Their product descriptions are lacking so get those details at Optics Planet or the like.

Excellent CS as well. Returns are not a problem. Their SS warranty is solid.

Thanks every one. Now just have to find out if they will sell anything to a Canadian. It seems to be a big hastle to get anything in Canada.

Also, any good Canadian stores to buy guns and optics from? Besides Wholesale Sports and Cabelas.

Thanks.

Just got a Burris 4.5-14X from them for a .300 win mag I have needed to finish. $199 on clearance- ex. deal. It showed up in 2 days to my house. +1

Another + on SWFA customer service. I recently dug out an old (really old) SS10X42 that had seen better days. The fact you could see through it amazed me after all the trauma this scope has seen. It was dedicated to student loaners. It has been thrown down, banged on, glass mistreated during rapid field cleaning, frozen in the snow, roasted in the heat, camo painted multiple times. After sitting for years the turrets were still, so I sent it back to SWFA for service. I think this was one of the originals Tasco dumped on the market.

In two days, maybe three, I get an email they want to replace it. They issued a store credit. I elected to spend it on their SS1-4x24. They shipped on Friday I received it on Monday! No hassles, no delays, easy to communicate with.

That would probably make them a good "Timex" type advertisement.

By level four of my rifle class I would ask students how much faith they had in their rifle. While they were contemplating their answers I would drop a rifle with this scope from chest high in the desert dirt, then I picked a volunteer to shoot it, and it always survived. That was some rough training!

has they changed their site , back in Jan i bought a Sightron 10x50 that was a demo
but now it only shows up as SWFA SS scopes ?? and no other brands listed . but
the sale and service was top notch..
