Surgeon Receiver Problems after the move to Arizona...

Butch,
I have no doubt Mr. See is a man of his word. That said I know the man that told me about the problems to be as straight a shooter as they come...(pardon the pun) The important thing is we seem to have narrowed it down to an isolated problem.

I hope to continue to build on Surgeon Receivers in the future. I love the extended thread tenon...

I also appreciate your input on this issue... Thank you.

Matt, Just to clear up the singular issue assessment. In the process of manufacturing these actions they go in and out of the mills for different operations. The loading ramp is cut in a singular operation on a singular fixture, due to the odd angle and location of the cut. Obviously a machine operator missed one action off the work table, and final inspection didn't see it.

It is very rare for something like this to happen. I can not sit here and say unequivocally it will never happen again, after all we are only human and mistakes do happen. We rectified the problem in reworking the action and sending it back out to the gunsmith the day we received it back.

You can rest assured we continue to look at ways to make our great product better in the last 6 months we addressed what I considered areas in need of improvement and are implementing those changes only after testing vets them out.

Jim,
That explains the question of a single error. I had assumed, and we know what that leads to, that it was a ganged operation with multiple actions being machined at one time. In short that does it...
