Suppressors - who can help me?

Take a look at SAS (Suppressed Armament Systems) from Mile High Shooting, for the money they seem to be a very good deal for a Ti can. They make a .338 Ti can as well. Stainless models are also available.

TBAC is what many comp. shooters use, rpierce listed one above that is a very good deal; he has the best prices I've seen on them.

For the .22RF I really like SilencerCo products because of their ease of disassembly for cleaning, even if you don't take it down for several days after a looong day shooting. For the .308, do think about getting a can for the biggest bore you're likely to shoot in the future, like .338, as mentioned above in several posts - when I got a can for my AR, I didn't get a .308 bore can, and I should have. On the other hand, that does give me an excuse to by a Thunderbeast some day, to go with the Yankee Hill Machine on the AR.

Good info guys thanks.. i do have a 338 lapua... but never have even thought of a suppressor for it... i kind of like it being heard when it goes off. Plus ill never shoot subsonic rounds out of it... im only getting a suppressor for subsonic loads... as far as supersonic goes, well im back to accuracy and dont want anything on the end of my barrel.

Thunder beast ultra 9 sounds good... longer for more help... and ive ready the most on it as far as no poi shifts...

There is so much Hpye (BS) when it comes to cans. What this causes is the perception that the best at marketing, makes the best can, NOT SO. With so many new NFA owners out there when you ask for an opinion it quickly becomes a Ford vs Chevy deal, and everybody knows Chevy is better because I drive a Chevy. The fact is there is no real independent testing done for noise or accuracy, you should think snake oil salesman. This is what a can virgin should do, deal with the www.silencershop.com they will set your trust up, hold your hand, and not sale you something you dont need. They move more cans then anybody and are not stuck on any one brand, and drop can makers that have problems. JTate

The one problem with Silencer Shop is finding what you want In Stock.

Truth. I wanted to order a couple of suppressors before 41p came out, SS had only one of them in stock (ironically they came into stock after I bought elsewhere). I ended ordering from nearby Capitol Armory (they also offer a nice service of letting you pay for your suppressor in installments while its sitting in NFA jail). Both are good to go for me because I live in Texas, but if you live outside of Texas, I would also recommend you look locally to avoid the additional delay of an intermediate Form 3 transfer to your local dealer.

I just paid for my 5th and 6th Lane cans last night. I was drawn to them by the take apart to clean feature. Plus after meeting the owner-operator, I'll never sway. The guys a credit to the industry, just an honest, quiet, non bragging, hard working guy putting out a great product.
