Suppressors - who can help me?

I need to get a .22LR suppressor, thinking about the aac element 2...


I need to get a 7.62 (308) suppressor.. i have no idea...

Accuracy, direct thread, and quietness is all i need... i dont care about weight, length etc...

I dont even know where to start... without shooting em all in person, aint really a way i can see a diff...

Where are you ? Without some basic info in your profile it is hard to figure out if some one can help you. I have helped a multitude of folks make some decisions on suppressors, optics and some other items. These folks were local to me.

I have a couple AAC Elements that have been great, the "mono" core's I have, have eroded away, slowly after the years of use, but the "K" baffles held up. I have Yankee Hill's rimfire cans, but prefer the AAC.
As for the 308 can, I have the AAC 300-TM.

My 308 weighs 19 pounds empty.. another pound wont make much change. 22 inch HV contour barrel, it wont droop it any either haha. Thats why i said weight dont matter.. i shoot prone or off a bench, length dont bother me.

Consider getting a .338 sized can IF there is ever the chance of going to a larger diameter rifle- I bought a .308 Gemtech and am very satisfied with it, however, I would LOVE one for the 338 but cannot pony up more cash for another can.
Shooting 270 and 6.5 through the 308 works very well and I would suppose that hanging a 338 can on the end of a 308 barrel would also quiet things down quite well also.

+1 on all Thunderbeast products. I have the 30P-1 and first shot accuracy is amazing. I have a TB .22 suppressor as well, but I like my liberty .22 suppressor better on a Kidd 10/22 barrel. WARNING! suppressors are addictive. Once you start using them you will never want to shoot without them.

Liberty Regulator is probably the quietest .22LR can out there right now. Just bought one myself, it's sitting in NFA jail. Whatever .22LR can you get, you need to be able to take it apart for cleaning.

As for the a .308 can, if you have the money, a Thunderbeast Ultra 7 or 9. I have a SilencerCo SpecWar 7.62 that is also very nice, just heavy (24oz). Have also just ordered a SilencerCo Omega, which is comparable in size and weight to an Ultra 7, but can use the same mounts as my SpecWar, which is nice because I have the mounts on 4 rifles.

Liberty Victory Magnum is top notch also. spend the money to get titanium and a magnum rated suppressor. Volume size counts for DB reduction 99% of the time. My Victory Magnum on my blackout has been tested to be only 84 db and drives my buddies crazy being so quiet. On supersonic calibers again, it is very very quiet compared to lot of others.

I have have had a Gem Tech Sandstorm in 30 cal. for about a year and love it. I also have in limbo waiting on my stamps to clear a 30 cal. Sig Arms SRD 762 TI-QD and a rimfire Axium. All of these cans are very top end well designed products that do very well at what they are designed for. If you have any other questions, You Tube is your best friend.

I love the TBACs for precision. I just sold out of all my ultra 9's. I have a 30CB9 that's brand new for 850 shipped w brake.

Like mentioned above, choose a 22 can that can be disassembled for cleaning(I have a tactical innovations Quest). While being all steel, it does not change POI on my rifles and is only barely noticable weightwise on pistols.

For rifles choose a direct thread on for quietness and most definitely titanium for weight and the least amount of POI change. Also as mentioned, consider the largest caliber you may end up using and go from there.
