i hunt ghogs. some farmers have voiced concern about the noise...i understand. thinking about buying a suppressor for one of the above. all these guns are the same diameter at the muzzel and am thinking about having them all threaded for a suppressor and change it around as needed. anybody with any experience along this line? thanks.

You're going to throw away a lot of the sound attenuation if the exit hole in the suppressor is much bigger than the projectile diameter.
25 thou clearance is ideally what to aim for.
The POI could be very different fitted versus removed so you'd need a dedicated suppressed rifle. They are very nice to shoot especially if your buddies have them too. Makes things more social.

You can buy a dedicated suppressor rated for the 22-250 and have all rifles threaded 1/2x28 with thread caps. I'd look at the Titanium suppressors as they're the lightest on the market but also the most expensive. Being Titanium your POI shift may be much less than that of a SS suppressor.
The rifle's will sound like a HV 22 LR being shot with the suppressor mounted. They're not movie magic quite.

Quite right about the noise level- they're shootable without hearing protection, about the same level as a HV rimfire.
It doesn't matter whether suppressors "slightly' or "dramatically" shift the POI. Either way, you've got to sight them in with the suppressor fitted. That's unless you don't mind missing regularly past 200yds..

I use titanium Quicksilver suppressors and they don't change my POI on one rifle and barely change it on another. All the cartridges you list are 22 cal, so you should have no problem using the same suppressor for all. go for it. My titanium suppressors have been very durable, hardly change POI, and hang much less weight off the barrel. rather than using a 223 suppressor, you might want to get a 308 can custom sized for a 22cal bullet: better suppression.
The only issue I"ve had with my thread on suppressor is when/if it loosens. I had a 223 barrel done and the threading job was very sloppy. It tends to come loose and I use loctite to keep it tight. On another barrel, threaded properly, I have never had a problem with it coming loose.

Ideally, barrels should be individually threaded for the actual suppressor you have on hand, not on some nominal thread size. The last thing you want is suppressor that is a sloppy fit on the thread- it is likely to come loose and may not mate up consistently on the barrel.
If you want to know the "ins and outs" of suppressors, the guys to ask are the serious UK shooters, most of whom use them routinely for varmint shooting. The common wisdom is that zeroes can be -very- different with and without the suppressor fitted. If yours aren't, count yourself lucky. Lighter weight may help but it doesn't guarantee immunity to zero shift. My (NZ-made) Hardy is 12 1/4oz which isn't very heavy in relative terms but it still has a noticeable effect on zero

I use my JET suppressor on my 223s, 22 BR, and 22-250. I dont screw around switching them around between zero, I just grab whatever particular rifle I want. They are sighted for the suppressor and I only run them that way. If I had to do it again however, I would get a 243 caliber suppressor and run it on my 6mm's and 22 caliber rifles. I run my 30 cal suppressor on my 260 shown here and it works pretty good as well.
I shoot on several farms close to housing & exclusively use suppressors. The farmers openly have me back every time because I'm not waking up the neighbourhood or stressing stock. The added bonus is that I don't need ear muffs & can have conversations with my spotter for corrections etc. Everything from a 204 to 308 are all suppressed & would do again. If weight it not an issue suppressors can be a mans best friend. Hunting properties can be hard to get so I also feel this is one way of helping to keep the relationship going to ensure further access.

No problems to use the same moderator between several rifles, just keep the cartridge/moderator volume "relevant" as bigger isn't better for smaller cartridges.
Not familiar with what brands are available to you, I only have experience with Atec, Hausken, S&L Hardcore, Ase ultra which all are good. (A lot of moderator testing/ measuring in gun magazines here, a lot of compared data available).

Collected the T3 today- suppressor fitted, bolt spiral fluted and a second "half cock" notch that allows the safety to lock the bolt tight with a round in the chamber.
Total weight with the 30mm scope and (heavy) Optiloc rings is 7lb 11oz. I intend to fit my spare 1" 3-9 Monarch and lighter rings so she should then come in about 7lbs flat.
Sighted it in quickly this evening with 110 TTSXs, a temporary measure while I await the 120s, and they're doing 3050 using H335. Definitely up to a sika, one of which I hope to tip over this weekend.

Could anyone here help direct me in obtaining a suppressor? I do a lot of ground hog hunting near our home and other farmers are calling me to help them remove the hogs as they are eating a lot of soybeans in certain areas of there field. Unfortunately these areas are getting close to homes. Thus my interest in a suppressor.
Am i correct the ATF Form 4 must be filled out and the $200 tax stamp paid to basically get the ball rolling?
