Summer is here in Phoenix, need advice on mirage

I lived in AZ for 5 years it was 10 years to many if it didn't burn you, it would bite you or it has stickers on it
Sounds like great fun, not! If I lived in Arizona I would figure out a way to shoot from my air conditioned car. Window down and take a shot, close window! I cannot imagine how you could really learn anything with the mirage being what it is at 110 degrees. I would be back at the range in October. Lol.

Born and raised in Southern Oregon, I never thought I'd ever live in Arizona. . . I do really miss the "green". ;) So, I have a home off a golf course! o_O

I find managing the heat is a lot easier than managing the cold. Before I decided to move to the Phoenix area, I ask a relative how they managed to adjust to the here in AZ having been a long ;time resident of Illinois. He said, he just treats the summer like winter. . . where you just don't go outside as much and easier to travel from one building to another. :p I thought I can deal with that. . . like not having to keep my car in a heated garage or chip the ice of the outside of it before being able to drive. When it's 110°F, I don't go out shooting in it, but the early mornings are cool enough to get some shooting in with no mirage (unless one is not under some shade). I find HOT HOT is easier to manage the COLD COLD! ;) . . . especially at my advanced age.
