Battery fan for barrel mirage in F Class

Depending on the venue... no, you can't.

2017 FCWC, smartphones, smart watches and even fitness trackers had to be left back in the 'ready' area behind the line. Anything that could receive even an SMS message was not allowed, to prevent someone receiving "coaching" from behind the line.

Not all watches are smart watches. The rules expressly prohibit electronic communication devices unless coms are turned off.

And yet shotmarkers are allowed as well as a pit crew indicating where each shot impacts.

They run things a little differently at FCWC level events. For example, teams aren't allowed near the line until the pullers are already in the pits, so they don't know who they are pulling for.

We’re getting old, and rules are changing. I understand wording changes, to allow e targets. But it’s opening a new can of worms to interpretation. I can’t comment yes or no anymore. Twenty years ago I was racing stock car. Everyone understood, that if the rules didn’t specifically call something out as illegal, then you were good to go. Now the liberal mentality, reads things differently. It has created a great debate, specially amongst FTR competitors.
Number one rule in racing. “If you’re not cheating, you’re not winning.”

Yes, I had called the NRA for a question and got an automated "leave a message, we'll get back to you".
several weeks later ........nothing. But they do notify me about good deals to join the NRA. Yes, the one I've been a life member of for many years. Oh, and I have forgotten the question I asked them. It's been a long time since I asked.
Wow ..I hav'nt shot high-power or anything else for a while....I just wonder....where's the fun?... I haven't heard from NRA for a while, life member since 70s when your number was numbers and letters, not a debit card. When they do call , I say sure..if you can tell me my NRA number...the old one.
