What about a job site gang box? It's not fire proof, but probably as secure as a low end safe, light weight too. Lag it to the floor.
No need to get a heavy fireproof safe for a temporary residence. Go with a lockable gun cabinet. This one should do you will. Hide it in a secure location. Take the rest of your money and buy a new toy.

I’d buy some good, lockable gun cases and some cable locks for the guns. Put some deadbolts on a closet door, somewhere “private” and call it square. A second safety layer would be to buy a small safe to put the bolts in.
