Suggestions for electronic powder measure?

Just started loading H4350 first time & checking the charges thrown from a Harrell's on an electronic scale- the weight variance is a bit more than I am used to seeing - this stick powder is larger than Varget, VV N135, VV N133, 8208XBR, Benchmark, etc.

Looking for 42.0g & getting 41.8g - 42.2g. 42.0g about 70% of the time...

I use a Harrell's powder dispenser & it's been great for my needs. Incredibly accurate - perfect actually. And I like the process...

I'm thinking an electronic dispenser would speed up the process for larger stick powders (vs undercharging & trickle to exact weight) and be accurate. I have looked at (online) RCBS, Pact, Lyman, Hornady.

I shoot varmints, but I'd like to know that I am shooting an accurate round with the exact same charge in each case.

Any recommendations on these? RCBS seems to get good reviews.

Thank you for your input.

RCBS Chargemaster or the new Lite version.

I have the CM and I hunted through this forum and online for as much info as I could find on their failings and features. With the McD straw mod or in my case a bush (DIY from alloy and info I found here) and the ability to tweak the settings of fast, medium and slow dispense times I haven't been disappointed with my purchase. I've not bothered to adjust any dispense settings get as reloading for me is not high quantities and certainly not a race. 223 varmint loads are my largest usage.

it takes a long time to get the technique down for throwing 4350 from a harrells. it'll make you pull your hair out. a chargemaster will get you where you need to be I think.

I think those powder sticks are too large for a Harrell's. Read alot about the RCBS 1500 - positive. Looks to be a time saver as well. The Harrell's throws dam EXACT charges with other powders, my .02. thx, sir. I have given up on the
idea that reloading is a $ saving endeavor. But the more you shoot... :)

sorry but a harrells drops n133 at plus or minus .3 on a good day. i have seen really good guys get right at plus or minus .2, but not most guys.

go watch a benchrest match, more and more chargemasters because that will do n133 at plus or minus.1.

what kind of electronic scale...most are not worth the money..they step in 1/10s.

Somebody always has to make up the bottom half of the lineup. The top half can throw charges better than that.

a lot depends on the machine. i did a sample at a match. n133 harrell's throwers. the larger the variation in the throw, the lower on the finishing list. even the guy that finished in the top 10 was throwing more then 2tenths off, the guy in the top 20 was more than 3 tenths off.
there are other throwers.and then the chargemaster.
( i actually bagged "throws", took them home and weighed them.)
