Suggestions for a scope for an old Mossberg 640 K Huckster

I have been away from rimfire for so many years that I don't have any idea what decent 1 inch scopes might be available nowadays. Found out my Weaver K6 is locked up. Are there any high quality scopes available. I am sure I want a fixed power.

Well if you'd like to keep the 6X Leupold make a couple. The Competition model has the adjustable objective which you may like, or they have a Standard 6x as well.

Cute gun...I am thinking Burris must make a simple straight 4 or 6 X. Personally, I would get a Leupold 2-7 and be done with it, but I understand your desire for a single power...more in keeping with the era.

I got a 1960 Mossberg 342KA at a gun show in 2014 for $75 with a clunky narrow scope.

I got a 1975 Mossberg 340BD for $75 at a pawn shop in 2016 with a clunky narrow scope.

They both have tip off grooves, so I will not have to drill and tap for Weaver scope bases.

I like to put Leupold scopes on the rifles I use. The ones that have killed the most on 22 rifle are the 1.5x4x20 small scopes.
