We have a brand new unused 6.5/284 Win match grade, no turn neck reamer will sell you cheap. Keep in mind that the Win is different from the Norma / Lapua.
Borrowing reamers is right up there with borrowing underwear.
I suggest that you do your home work. The .284 Win has more screwed up chambers due folks try to make the necks to tight and the throats to short.
I'll go the other direction on this. Freebore depends on the bullet you intend to use and the intended use. Single fed with 180+ grain bullets is best served with freebore a in the 220+ range.Depending on if your building a short or long action 284 win will ultimately determine final freebore. You really won't need more than .090 in the SA but will want a minimum of .220 in LA. Just depends on your needs or wants in the gun.
I will also agree that the bullet is as important as the action length if your willing to feed single rather than from a magazine(internal or external). I use an external DBM and it's a short action so in my case, being a short action, I do not need alot of freebore due to my oal max at 2.950. I think I'll have .090 with my setup once complete.I'll go the other direction on this. Freebore depends on the bullet you intend to use and the intended use.
