Stocky Stocks

I bought a bobby hart stock from stocky's on jan 30 and as of today i haven't received it yet. I called them and got no real answer to when i would get it. I'm expecting my new build to be done around this coming friday so i'm running out of time. Anybody else have problems with them?

Like so many other places where I try to place an order it's, "on backorder".

I have dealt with Stocky's before and if they have it in stock it gets shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. So as was mentioned it must be a backorder issue. Most guys making stocks are minimum 8-12 weeks before delivery. And many are 4-6 months.

Call and ask to speak to the owner himself,dont say why but technical questions,then when you get him on the phone explain the situation and you got no real answers from his operator.Those stocks are selling like crazy,so a backorder is pprobably what the deal is.

What is irritating is that when i bought it, it was "in stock" only after i bought it and looked at the receipt did i see it that was on backorder. It may have been a simple mix-up but it feels like, List as "in stock" then get your money then tell you it's on backorder to keep from losing the sale.

That could have been timing, The item was low on stock, someone bought the last one just before you ordered, It happens at times.
Also computer inventorys. Someone may have forgotten to remove one item from the list.

I've bought a few stocks from Stocky and if they were in stock they shipped the same day, on one stock I had to wait one week which was ok as they told me it could take up to a month to fill the order.
