stocks?

I am getting ready to buy a stock for a rifle project. At first my choice was an Hs precision sporter for around $360 I know they are good stocks as I have one of their stocks a rem 700 varmiter. I have been looking at the Whidden 105 sporter stocks any one have any comparisons on these two. They appear to be about the same price. I would like it to be as rigid and light weight as possible. It will be used with a bipod most of the time.

The lightest rigid stock IMHO is the H. S. Precision line, some come in just a little over 2lbs., and if you shop around the shooting Forums on the net, ebay and GunBroker you'll find one used for around $200-$250 verus paying retail for a new one.

the whidden stock is hands down a better choice!! Hands Down!!! Lee

There hasn't been an HS stock that I picked up or shot with I didn't like. And like taildrag15x said they show up on the forumfor right around the 200 250 dollar mark for that price you can't beat them.
