have a savage model 12 f/tr chambered in 7 mm rem mag. looking for a different stock. some more along the lines of a hunting or tactical stock.

HS Precision at stockys. They are tough and alot less money than Mcmillan.

Either the bell and carlson or the hart long range stock I've had both loved them for hunter and shoot off the bench can't beat them for the price either.

I don't see Manners mentioned much on this site and I haven't had any experience actually using one yet, but I did order a T2A for my new rifle. They have a decent selection of styles and they each have their own attributes. Would be worth looking at anyway I think. They inlet for a variety of actions now too.

Stockade makes a nice selection,I have the elk hunter stock and it is very comfy and the price is reasonable out of the mold,all you have to do with the out of mold one is sand and fill any slight imperfections and paint for around 225.00! Kevin rayhill is easy to deal with and fun to talk too.
