Stock touch up etc

Pulled the stock from my FO setup did some light sanding add another coat of linseed oil to it. While I had it sanded asked my wife to laser engrave this into the stock for me. Thought it came out pretty good. Applying linseed oil now.

What gave me the idea to do this at SWN one of the Canadian FTR shooters had the maple leaf laser engraved into their stock one of the prettiest stocks I seen in a long time.

That is pretty darn bad ass in my opinion. Like the adjustable cheek piece you built into the stock as well.

Baron Osterman did that. I got the stock last year and felt I rushed it when it came to applying the linseed oil. So figured why not resand it and oil it again. Tomorrow will add another coat to it.

I will post some when it’s done, still letting the coat I put on last night dry. Do some more light sanding and apply another coat of linseed oil.
