Stock modification

Howdy fellas, I've been getting some wonderful info here and I appreciate it! maybe one day I can help more than I ask.

I have a bell and carlson A2 medalist that I'd like to modify the front for a bit more I guess you'd say radius over that little step that is there now and I was curious what would you think the best way to go about his would be? I was thinking body filler to get the shape then chop cloth and fiberglass so that it would stand up to being beat around, your thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated and if you have any pictures of your modified stocks that would also be nice to see.

This is for a PRS rifle build and trying to keep a budget lol I know right BUT I'm going to try. Later,

DA sander then build up with marine tex and sand to suit. May take a few buildups

I've hand sanded Marine Tex and yea a DA would be a HAVE TOO! lol dang that stuff is a pain to work with or at least to the Rage Gold filler I'm used to. Oh well it might take a bit longer but should hold up well. Appreciate the advice. Later,

Be sure the surface is ruff- maybe even put some screws in it the epoxy can grab to as long as theyll be past flush.

Yes sir! I was going to add some small screws so the epoxy had something to grab... that's why I was thinking the body filler then hit it with the fiberglass and chop cloth to lock everything to the stock as I could wrap the complete front portion where the modifications were performed. Later,
