Stock modification

So I was looking at precision wood crafting stocks over the weekend. They look beautiful to me and I’d like one.

Then I got to thinking. I’d really like one with an adjustable comb and length of pull.
Does anyone do that kind of work? Pretty sure it wouldn’t be worth the money but just curious, as I might like to do that.

Thanks fellas

You can buy the hardware and do it yourself. Kits are available. You’ll need a solid bandsaw with a good bed and the ability to hold the stock level to the bed (I’d make a jig) to cut the comb.

There are similar kits for LOP adjustment that are not much more difficult than installing a recoil pad. You’ll need to be able to drill perfectly straight holes for the length of the guide rods.
