Stock Inlet and Bedding

Looking for someone to inlet a flattop McMillan stock for a Rem 700 style action. Would also like it pillar and glass bedded.
This will be for a comp gun that I’d like to get finished fairly quick.
Any suggestions?

You can send it back to mcmillan and they will inlet it on their cnc for about 75% less than a gunsmith with manual machines.

Happy to help. We pioneered surface machined stock inlets 20+ years ago.

What’s the advantages and disadvantages of a wood bed job?

Wood stocks started it all.
As the weather changed so did wood stocks, they swelled or dried out changing the way rifles shot.
Some people started bedding wood stocks, that led to pillar bedding.
Other guys started making fiberglass stocks.
