Stock finishing service

I have a new rifle stock that I need finished. The rifle stock grade is roughly that of exhibition grade, but is now showing some minor flaws. Can someone point me in the right direction of a professional that does excellent finishing work? Thanks!

If you go to my website www.shadetreeea.com you will see some of Michael Kavanaugh's work. I don't know if he is taking any work at this time. He is trying to finish his Masters degree in Biology and keeping top grades. He will then go into the Navy. You can also see some of Kav's work on www.bryantcustom.com. He understands materials and knows how to paint without adding weight to your stock.

I can recommend a young man by the name of Arron King he trained under J.P. Campbell and was his stock man for several years, I had him do my last three exhibition stocks and they are superb, the wood has great luster and the figure stands out perfectly.
You can contact him at arron@taogart.org He is one of the few stock makers I would trust to work on the finest guns in my collection.

Mike is not taking on any more stock work. I talked to him about doing my Stiller Preditor while they had it.

I am no longer taking work for it takes me WAY too long to finish a project.. I just have way too much on my plate now days to play with stocks. I wish I had the time but I noticed wood stocks are tending to rot before I finish them

if you go 6 br web site and look at top gunsmiths you will see stan ware name listed there he is a gunsmith in southern minneasota give him a call his wife does great work on gun stocks any design you want very nice
