The monthly matches are beginner friendly with 4 classes of (shoot what you have) that accommodate everyone.

I'm getting a few calls and pm's lately about the monthly matches. We don't have any strict rules for the monthly match. YES you can be competitive with factory equipment. We let everyone shoot what they have and allow muzzle breaks as well. We just put those guys on the end of the line. We just want to have a good time and get out and shoot. Its war of coarse!!!

I live close to the STL benchrest club. I have some decent shooting factory rifles. I enjoy shooting prone or on a bench with a harris bipod and rear sandbags. Im curious what class would be best suited for me? I dont know how the different sports are played. What is the objective, rules and shooting distances of these sports? What is the difference between F class, FTR, benchrest ect ect ect. Thanks!

It looks like you have many questions to answer. There is a search section for the answers in the main menu of this forum. You should find everything you need to get up to speed. I believe ftr is the class you will be most interested in. Just show up and jump in with us. We will get you going and give you all the help you need. We have a great group and you will take to it like a fish to water. We are a pretty laid back bunch.
